Ireland has become the new Nazi Germany of Europe with both its current government and opposing political parties, as well as the “figurehead” President Michael D Higgins, who all hold the false opinion that Israel is a genocidal state, the worst abuser of international law and human rights in the world. Apparently, Israel is worse than the Islamists, Hamas, ISIS, Sudanese, and Nigerians who have murdered millions of people. In Sudan alone, an estimated 2.5 million people have been murdered, all of who are both non-Muslim and Muslim. When has Ireland called for war crimes against these countries?
Pertaining to Israel, when it handed over Gaza to the Arabs for a potential state in 2005, within a few months, rockets were sent to bomb Israeli civilians for nearly 20 years. The Irish government never made serious efforts for the leaders of Hamas to be held to account for these war crimes; however, on the three occasions Israel launched major operations to defend its people, the war crime threats were always called for by the Irish government against Israel.
The Irish media are openly hostile to Israel and are no better than Der Sturmer, the Nazi propaganda newspaper. The Irish media love to use left-wing Jews like its head of the Jewish Rep Council, Maurice Cohen, and their regular left-wing apologist Jew Oliver Sears, to write in newspapers like the Irish Times. An example is the left-wing Jewish rhetoric: “We Irish Jews distance ourselves from the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government.” These people are so full of fear and are nothing more than a modern Judenrat. Just for the record, there are many Irish Jews who support the policies of the Israeli government. I am one of them.
For over 50 years, Syria, under the two Assad regimes, murdered more than 500,000 of their people in the worst way, including torture and chemical weapon attacks. Was Ireland leading the way to bring war crime charges against the Syrian government? No!
Anyone who holds an objective view based on hard evidence knows that these charges of genocide are not only false but a canard of Jew hatred not seen since the time of Nazi Germany and the blood libels against the Jews during the Middle Ages. Ireland is guilty of pure anti- semitism and clouds their hate in false assertions advancing the cause of international norms and law.
Douglas Murray, a British journalist, and the retired British Colonel Richard Kemp ( former commander of British forces in Afghanistan) have visited Gaza many times. They refute all the claims the Irish government has asserted. In another canard, Ireland accuses Israel of trying to starve the Gazans. This is another myth: hundreds of thousands of tons of food aid and water have been shipped into Gaza. However, the Hamas terrorists have stolen most of the aid, which has prolonged the war and increased the hardship, which we know is a propaganda ploy that the Jew-haters like the Irish government willingly swallow because of their prejudice against the Jews.
In a recent report by The Henry Jackson Society in the USA, a human rights think-tank has reported, based on extensive analysis, that the Hamas Ministry of “Death” (health) discovered that they listed men as women to inflate the female fatalities. They found that adults were registered as children, as well as reported disproportionate deaths of fighting-age men. Further, they recorded natural deaths as war dead and under-reported combatant deaths. I wonder if the Irish government has reviewed this report and has made any comments. I am sure they did not, as it does not suit their agenda.
Israel does not need to defend its record as a liberal democracy with values that supersede those of other democracies and certainly more than its accusers, especially Ireland.
The countries that support Israel and know that Ireland has now descended into Nazi-style Jew-hatred in the guise of pro-Palestinianism need to take action against the Irish government itself. Sadly, the majority of Irish people support their government based on the lies and misinformation from the media. The USA should take a hard look at discouraging US companies from making further investments in Ireland and penalizing their tourist industry as the US traveler is one of their largest customers. Ireland is a big proponent of boycotting Israel. Maybe the boot should now be on the other foot.
