This is the harrowing story of the Masih family, who lived in a brick kiln. Parvaiz Masih, a devoted Christian and father of five, spent countless years working at a brick kiln, where he and his family endured unbelievable hardships.
A Daily Struggle for Survival:
Life at the brick kiln was a nightmare for Parvaiz Masih and his family. Each day, they toiled endlessly under the boiling sun, crafting bricks in exchange for meager wages. Their days were filled with punishing labor, while the shadows of exploitation and cruelty haunted their nights.
The kiln administration treated them with ruthless brutality. They were subjected to verbal abuse, physical violence, and, worst of all, harassment. The Masih family’s three daughters lived under constant fear, their innocent eyes reflecting a terror no child should ever know. The kiln manager’s despicable attempt to assault Parvaiz’s young daughters left the family shattered, clinging desperately to the faint hope of rescue.
As if the physical and emotional torment wasn’t enough, Parvaiz and his family faced the sinister threat of forced conversion. The kiln administration pressured them relentlessly, demanding they abandon their Christian faith. Parvaiz’s steadfast belief made them a target for even harsher treatment, as they refused to yield to the coercion. The family’s faith became their strength and the source of their deepest trials.
A Ray of Hope:
We (ECSPE) became a Ray of Hope for the Masih family. When we learned of their plight, our team immediately devised a rescue plan. Within days, we successfully liberated Parvaiz and his family from the grip of their oppressors. This rescue was not merely an escape—it was a redemption, a moment when light broke through the overwhelming darkness of their lives.
We relocated Parvaiz and his family to a safe haven far from the reach of those who tormented them. Here, they found food, clothing, and shelter, but most importantly, they discovered the opportunity to live with dignity and rebuild their lives.
Join the Mission to End Persecution:
Parvaiz Masih’s story is one of countless others who suffer in silence. We must stand together to rescue persecuted families like his—families who endure slavery, violence, and the threat of losing their faith.
